- 189 men of the Royal Australian Naval Bridging Train, encamped at Mudros on the island of Imbros, mutiny over lack of pay and refuse to muster for work. They are placed under arrest pending an enquiry. They are released three weeks later; Lieutenant Bond, the unit’s second in command, is removed for failing to ensure that the men had been adequately paid.
