- Orange celebrates Red Triangle Day, raising almost £1,000 for the YMCA. Hundreds of onlookers line the streets to watch the procession led by the Municipal Band. Mayor McNeilly says that he is sure that the people of Orange will donate generously, given that the city has donated £20,000 to the various patriotic funds since the war began.
